Urbano's Mexican Dining - Carmichael

6/21/22 update: still a favorite! Their cooking reminds me of my Grandma and takes me back to childhood! Delish! My favorite dinner is #7, cheese enchilada beef taco! Carnitas are The Best! Taco Salad if you want to tell yourself you're eating lite! Lol! Tonight my Dad and daughter enjoyed margaritas with dinner! They both gave rave reviews! Urbano's is a family favorite!!! The food and service are fantastic, which keeps a regular crowd coming back!!! Great place for families and large groups. Prices are reasonable for the platter of food served. Go for the guacamole, it's always fresh! Regular customer tip: if the parking lot is full there's more parking in the back.

Walked in to the counter, the waitress says “yes”. We ask to be seated for two and we’re told to walk in to the room and sit wherever, she then got annoyed when my girlfriend didn’t have anything picked out to order less than two minutes after giving us our menus, and she had an attitude the whole time like we shouldn’t be there. There’s no music and it’s awkwardly quiet with nothing going on, the waitress walks around and monitors people like a school chaperone. She came up to less than 10 minutes after we got our food with a to go box and said she knew we would need it. Used to come here a lot years ago and clearly something changed for the worst. Definitely the most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had and the worst waitress ever. Food also came out very quickly and the meat comes in big chunks

Ii have been my children to eat here since they were 6 and 8 and now bring my grandchildren also. Twenty five years never a bad meal. Well done
