Bidrage med feedbackI have been going to Stacked Pickle since they opened. While I think they could improve on their beer selection and make sure it is served colder, it is always a great place to visit.
I arrived with a group of people without a reservation and was able to easily get a table on a Saturday night. The lighting in the restaurant is quite dim.
We were eager to try The Stack Pickle for lunch. We typically go later to avoid crowds and appreciate the available parking space in the back. The service was efficient and quick.
While visiting in town searching for some drinks a bar (because the hotel didn't have one the front desk recommended this venue. There's some construction going on so make sure you walk into the right down. We walked in got seated fairly quickly but that's where the quickness seemed to stop. Finally our waitress made her way over took our orders. It wasn't too busy so we were a bit confused. We weren't too hungry so we just ordered appetizers those were actually good decent sized. The pretzel bites, the chili con queso tater tots. Enough to share amongst a few people. The only issue was they didn't have many of the local beers this particular night. Outside of that seems to be a good venue, a lot of locals were there (hence all the Colts gear that began to walk in I was just surprised they didn't have the game on all TVs but when you're a Pats fan who cares about the Colts :
If you're just wanting to grab a quick beer or appetizer with friends, this is the place. It's loud, but there's usually seating and there's a parking lot in the back which makes things easier. They have this grouchy, short hostess who always makes us laugh. She's so miserable. The rest of the wait staff is usually pretty good, although I always feel like someone has called in sick so they have twice as many tables as they can handle. Food is decent. Beer selection is pretty good. Tables are usually sticky, but it's the kind of place where you don't care that much because it's sort of expected. Come here. Have a drink. Then go somewhere else. It's perfect for this scenario.
