El Pollo Rico - Carbondale

The food was phenomenal! Their chicken is incredibly flavorful, in addition to their multitude of sides. El Pollo Rico also has great service and the food comes very quickly.

This was probably one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Some dishes were alright, but the seafood was undercooked. The salsa tasted like BBQ sauce. The service was beyond terrible - nothing came out at the same time and it took an incredibly long time for our food to arrive. When we told our waitress that the food didn't taste right, she just walked away and refused to speak to us for the rest of the night. Another waitress had to come to our table to help us. The second waitress was much better and took one of the dishes off the bill. We will not be returning to this restaurant again. It used to be good, but we were extremely disappointed and will not be back.

The best grilled chicken is delicious. It costs $12.50 for a half chicken.

It appeared that they were understaffed, but the food was fantastic!
