If you’re looking for an understated, authentic coffee shop that is all about the enjoyment of the beverage, Anthony’s Golden Cup is it! It’s really a little treasure of a place, with a variety of coffee beans to purchase for home use. I love that they serve filter coffee (they also do espresso based drinks), as I find very few places have that option these days. Each cup is made with love and if you’re lucky, you’ll find the legendary Anthony himself there too!

One of my favourite spots in the Mother City. Incredibly unassuming cafe run by the sweetest and kindest coffee connoisseur who has been roasting coffee for many decades making a visit here quite a special one.

The original is often understated. They have moved across the road which affects opening times, but good quality coffee has not changed in 28 years
