Fontanile Dei Caprai - Capalbio

We loved this restaurant. The place is lovely, in the middle of the country, the food is amazing and the staff is very kind. Definitely with it!

Have been there three times, twice on the last Easter long weekend when we stayed in capalbio. We dined on the night of arrival, then returned for lunch on pasquetta, Easter Monday. The place is off the road, isolated and quiet, surrounded by fields and vineyards. In the evening, it feels like you are dining in a candle lit wood cabin, super cozy even if the place is pretty big. It's rustic but just so nice! During the day you best enjoy eating out on the terrace. As befits an agriturismo, it's relaxed, surrounded by nature, and very homey. You want to stay and lounge under the tree! The food is very good, genuine, great meat of course. I love the scottiglia! It was super nice to go for a little walk after lunch, beautiful surroundings, you can stroll pretty far in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Il Fontaine stays a big favorite

This charming (a bit hard to find restaurant) is very nice an d located in the calm Capalbio/Marsiliana countryside. The food is alwas ok (tipical Tuscan menu) but the only pity is the ups downs with the service. Sometimes they are very friendly and charming, other times they barely notice you. Pity. The place has one of the best outdoor sitting in the area. Nice and cosy in the winter. Worth the try.

We came to the hair of the goats behind a friend's advice and as soon as we arrived we had the feeling of having made a great choice, very nice place and intimate, soft lights, candles on the tables. very rich menu, all Tuscan things like hares, truffles, wild boar etc. we ordered the tagliatelle to the wild boar, the truffle tortelli and the watercotta, wild boar, peposo, majolica and baked sheep, all really good. the service was a little slow but they explained to us that I am under organic cause covid so that I did not value it, indeed I must say that the waiters were really nice. I highly recommend it, it is a magical place!

Premitting that the place is really beautiful, the account was a little excessive especially for the quantity (the really poor appetizer and in the basket of bread there were three pieces, we had to ask it immediately). overall everything was good, talking about quality. friendly staff and fast service.
