Bidrage med feedbackCaph's, which claims to have been operating continuously since 1926 under different names, is likely Canberra's oldest restaurant. The restaurant has a charming outdoor terrace area that provides a pleasant dining experience. I recently enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast of poached eggs on toast and sausages, along with a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the surrounding area has been affected by the closure of the Capitol Cinema complex due to a redevelopment planning dispute, leaving it looking shabby and covered in graffiti. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon for the sake of the once charming neighborhood of Manuka.
No trip to Canberra is complete without dining at Caph's Restaurant. All four dishes we ordered were tasty and served hot. The staff provided attentive and quick service. The menu offered a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate. We definitely plan on returning.
This is a great spot for a casual meal. The service was friendly and efficient. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. They offer a wide variety of meals, drinks, and desserts. We were looking for a quick 30 to 40-minute meal, and this place was perfect for that. The kids' meals came with coloring activities to keep them entertained until the food arrived. Overall, it was great value for money.
We were short for time and got advice from the waiter about what dishes would be quick. My lasagne was very good.
9pm on Sat night. Staff overly focussed on cleaning and tidying. My smashed avocado was actually whopped avocado, so it was thin and tasteless. Should name the dish truthfully haloumi although whipped avocado.
