Bidrage med feedbackAfter a great experience at the Morgan Hill Willard Hicks recently my wife was eager to have Mother 's Day dinner at the Campbell Willard Hicks, but it was not the same. The service was relatively slow, and the drink order was wrong. We asked for the wedge salad to be chopped and tossed so we could share it easily. They did make a few cuts into the wedge but left the rest to us (with the server telling us it is chopped when we said something about it). To be fair, our server took the drink off the check, but we only figured out the reason she didn 't like it was because they brought the wrong drink (and we found that when he brought the check). Back to the salad, it was served with the stems still attached to the peppers and the grapes. The corn (in the salad) was on the cob. If it was supposed to be a garnish, I understand, but the salad was described as including corn. Her steak was just as good as she remembered, but the grapes (part of what really makes this dish) were served with stems attached (just a bunch of grapes versus individual, roasted grapes as the plate was served in Morgan Hill). I made the mistake of trying something different (the scallops and risotto; not worth it). The staff was friendly enough, just not as attentive as we experienced in Morgan Hill (or as you should be able to expect for the price).
We got lunch here! We enjoyed the Caesar salad and short rib pasta but the portions were pretty small. The Caesar was small and deconstructed which I’m not a fan of. I expected more pasta for the price as well. Service was very slow despite most of the tables being empty, but maybe that’s because there was a private party in the back. The space is nice, warm and welcoming and the staff is friendly. Just not sure it’s worth it for the price for lunch.
I will have to take pictures next time but this is amazing Greek kitchen and we love it. Come here regularly and always are surprised at how good everything is. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly outdoor atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: It’s easy and lots of space to roll up, no barriers and the staff is accommodating
Had an early dinner in a Friday night because we had heard of service issues. Not sure how things are when things are busy there, but we had great service. Food was great. Everything was cooked perfect and tasted great. We did not order drinks, so cannot comment on those.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing visit. I was celebrating my birthday and we ordered the ribs, filet mignon, kids teriyaki steak and pancetta Mac n cheese, pictures looked good but everything except from the Mac and cheese was almost uneatable. Teriyaki steak was burnt, fries soggy Filet mignon we had to send back, flavor was off, overcooked (initially requested medium rare) Ribs had so much sauce and it was so sweet and over powering. The fries soggy as well. For dessert they offered a homemade chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream, it was so hard and crumbly, tasted old. So sad, felt bad and took food home except for the filet mignon that we asked to take back to the kitchen. Bella was our server, super sweet girl, it was just a super slow service, took forever to get water and the food took over 35 min wait. L
