Bidrage med feedbackThe service here is always excellent... Although I have to admit, I always sit at the bar so I'm basing my opinions off of the bartenders who served me. I like the wine list and street tacos are great!
We came here before we began with the 2nd lock downtown. My mom's birthday was here. As there were 12 of us, we needed 2 tables. Of necessity, Covid 19 adopted protocol. The staff are really good, and they put us in the best outdoor dining place. The service is good. The food is great. Juicy and delicious, pork chop goes very well with apricot. We also ordered a complete rack of pork ribs that can feed 4-5 people, so the meat is tender. I really enjoy pork belly bites. When the lock down is done, I'll certainly come back. My husband and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary at WH yesterday. We got there just in time happy hour ended. Our waiter was Kevin he's absolutely the best waiter I ever had. He recommended our cocktail and appetizers, he got our order in quickly. I had the Abgail it was just up my alley and my husband had stormy weather it was also very good. We started off with the firecracker chicken with Blu cheese on top, it was delicious as well the jalapeño cornbread that everyone raves about. Our waiter Kevin explained the menu to us. He was very knowledgeable of the wine pairing to our main dish. We both ordered the prime rib steak. It was perfectly cooked and tasted so good. Our sides were potatoe au gratin, the best we ever had!! and the Brussels sprouts were delicious too. We both had up town wine. The atmosphere and music selection was very pleasant. I loved the beautiful flower arrangements too. Yesterday , dining was perfect. Kevin even surprised us with homemade cookie and vanilla bean ice cream. I can't wait to return with a few friends. I hope we have Kevin again. He made our dining experiences very pleasurable.
My girlfriend and I were in Campbell to drop off some Christmas gifts the other night and we were getting hungry so we started looking for a place for good cocktails and food. We saw Willard Hicks and thought this place looks great let's give it a try. We had just come from a place down the block that looked good but they have cheap booze in their well so the drink's we not good. It's the first time I had an old fashion that I didn't finish. Maybe our fault for not calling our liquor but we didn't know they had some no name unheard of whiskey in the well. Willard Hicks has Bullit Bourbon in the well. Not bad! We love to eat at the bar so we stepped right up and were immedietly greeted by the bartender who laid two menus cocktail side up on the bar. Wow great looking drink's on the menu so we ordered a couple and they were great! I had a drink called Some Like It Hot! It's a tequila drink with Jalapeño, cucumber and lime it was excellent! My Girlfriend got the Intruder a Whiskey based drink and she really liked it too. We split a fancy wedge salad that was great then moved on to the entree which was a Braised short-rib on top of Horseradish mashed potatoes. It was excellent. I am a desert fiend and could not pass up the Chocolate Ganache with fresh Strawberries and ice cream. It was so good I could have had another. Our bartender was great! I don't know if I have his name right but I think it was Burnsen. It's close so ask for him if you sit at the bar. All in all it made our trip from Livermore worth it and we will definitely be back! We celebrated my birthday, I had mentioned WH a year or so ago to my husband and he remembered and made reservations. The meal was delicious and service great. The DJ somehow was playing my favorites and so I made a point to thank him. He asked if I had a request, which I did, and he played it right away. The whole experience made a birthday very special. Caesar salad, filet mignon, loaded baked potato (candied bacon was soooo good) and creme brûlée.
