Bidrage med feedbackWent to Fatz in Camden SC tonight with my family. Had to wait for the hostess to come out and told her we had 5 people for dinner. She stated that she had to ask the waitresses if they want to serve us. Once we got seated in the bar area, thebartender came over to get our drink order which we had to tell her 3 times. She left and it took over 10 minutes to get ourdrinks. She brought out the rolls which were cold and hard but she didn't care. Had to wait to be given menus cause I gut theyonly have about 20 total for entire restaurant. We finally got the menus and got to order our food which to 30 minutes to getfrom kitchen. Most of the food was cold and the chicken tenders tasted like the were cooked in year old oil along with frenchfries, the baked potato was not even hot enough to melt the butter. About 5 minutes after the food was delivered to our tablethe bill was delivered and I was looking at the bill the bartender come by and said I could pay her now. Which I told her I wasonly looking and we were still eating. Very poor customer service food was very bad and the floor and booths looked like thehaven't been cleaned since the first day the establishment was opened. Will never enter this business again and if you poorservice and eat in a dirty restaurant then feel free to go and give them a try. I gave one start only because there was anylesser marks I could give.
We stopped to eat lunch at this Fatz as we were traveling on I-20. The service was good and the food tasted good.
My husband and I stopped at this Fatz for a late lunch. If I could have done this review without giving 1 star I would have but I had to give at least 1. It doesn't deserve any. The food was not good at all. I had a chicken sandwich and it was greasy andburnt. The fries looked and tasted as if they had been re-fried very greasy. My husband ordered broccoli casserole as a side andit was COLD! Not like it had been sitting out cold, REFRIGERATOR COLD! We walked in hungry and left hungry and annoyed. Ihaven't even got to the service yet. It was as bad, if not worse than the food! Servers initials on the receipt is KC. She wasbeyond bad. I'm sure I'd still be waiting on more rolls if I had stayed. No drink refills, no silverware. And she had thepersonality of a chewed up bedroom slipper. I will never go back. I sure wish we would have went to the waffle house across thestreet!
The ribs were amazing! The fries were trash. The shrimp was a little over cooked. The chicken tenders were great. It was all made up by amazing waitress name Wendy! It was my daughter's birthday lunch and she made her feel extra special. Wendy wentabove and beyond her service was top teir.
I got the Calabash chicken meal, and it was excellent. The recipe has not changed in over 20-30 years, and it is the best chicken tenders in the nation. The poppy seed rolls tasted a little different, but overall good. The coleslaw was a little off,and the house salad is different now, not the original ingredients. Therefore the taste isn't as fresh and crisp. Our serverWendy was very friendly ad customer service oriented.
