Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant was really poorly managed. I ordered food for collection at 6pm through the app, but the food wasn't ready until 7:10. Additionally, the food was not cooked properly and was slightly cold.
I visited the restaurant during the week and found the staff to be disinterested and unengaging. It took a long time to get our drinks and food. The food was tasty, but the service left something to be desired.
I dined at this restaurant two nights in a row while in Cambridge due to car issues. It was conveniently located near my hotel. The food was delicious, the service was good, and we had a pleasant dining experience both times. I would definitely come back if I ever find myself in the area again.
Came out for my birthday had wonderful service from a chap named Dylan he went above and beyond to assist us food was incredible thanks to the chef and Dylan for making our occasion top notch
John the manager does not need to work here. He was so rude to myself and my partner in front of the whole shop. I’ve eaten with you 100’s of lunches and never had this experience. Never had this anywhere to be honest. They tried to deliver our main course before the starter. Once we told them we were waiting for the starter, they made the starter, meaning our main sat there under the lights for 30 minutes. We asked nicely if they could redo it and they agreed. We watched them just remake the chips and swap these out onto the plate to try and fool us. Which was incredibly disrespectful. The restaurant was basically empty as well, so it was very obvious. I would like to know if that’s your official policy for dealing with cold food? We could hear John from the other side of the restraunt lying to his staff telling them the food had only been there 5 mins, telling them he wouldn’t remake it. The staff knew as well as I did it was sat there for ages as we kept speaking to them about it! The staff were more in control than him. He refused to speak to me out of the kitchen, then had a go at me for standing in the entrance?? I’ve never seen a manager like this their main job is dealing with customers. John still refused to remake the order and just muttered abuse at me from the kitchen. I’m going to take this as far as I possibly can. As I was not expecting this level of abuse and disrespect over such a minor issue. The staff actually apologised to me for his behaviour and told me they all feel the same way. One member even told me this happens all the time with him! I’ve never asked for a meal to be redone in my life, in fact this was the first. I would like to be updated on how this is being handled as I will continue to post on all review websites about this experience and manager. If you have any questions please reach out.
