Los Olivos - Calzada de Calatrava

We stopped to refuel at a gas station in the town and, when we asked where to eat, the operator recommended the place, indicating a different path to the one we were taking but according to what he said was in the same direction and only 2km from where we were. Upon arrival, a roadside bar, we realized that, according to Maps, we had gone in the opposite direction to our destination... Upon entering the dining room, which was empty, we were taken to the glazed terrace, at half capacity, where all the diners were, and soon after the heat began to bother us. The average food: a salad and a stew that was lukewarm; and a brothy rice that was cold and a bit raw and a slice of fish. Between dishes, no less than 20 minutes passed, and the waiter saw it as normal. In fact, he didn't even take away the empty plates of the first ones who kept us company until the second ones arrived. Dessert arrived 15 minutes after the second course. In total, the stop on the road to eat something lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. Excessive for a local road next to a gas station which, coincidentally, also owned by the same owner as the first. Would it also be the place? Coffees were not on the menu, which, although I don't understand, is becoming more and more frequent. However, they charged them at €1, which seems to me a detail.

Dimos con este restaurante en la carretera cuando íbamos de camino al castillo de Calatrava la Nueva el día de Jueves Santo y pudimos comer en él sin tener reserva. No hay problema para encontrar sitio para estacionar el coche. El comedor es relativamente amplio. Nos tocó esperar en el bar hasta que abrieron el comedor a las 14:00. Ofrecía menú con cuatro platos a elegir de primeros y otros tantos de segundos. La comida que ofrecía era tradicional, el sabor era bueno, la cantidad abundante y el precio asequible. El servicio nos atendió rápido y con amabilidad. Por concretar nosotros pagamos 50 euros por comer tres personas. Como primeros pedimos migas, paella y pimientos rellenos de bacalao. Como segundos pedimos bacalao y entrecot. Como postres pedimos tarta helada y pan de calatrava. Todo estuvo correcto y si volvemos por la zona volveríamos a comer aquí.

Nos han dejado tirados a 14 personas, teniendo la reserva desde el día anterior. Como se dice en estos casos...”un Cliente se tarda toda una vida en conseguir...y un minuto en perder”....en este caso a catorce y creo que con este comentario....a alguno mas.
