Soo Yuan - CALISTOGA

We were underwhelmed, especially after asking a local resident who works at the nearby museum for a restaurant recommendation. We found the flavors lacking. Bland. The ambiance is more of a take-out shop and it was not cool inside on a hot day. The next time we are in Calistoga, we will pass on this place. We parked close to the museum and then walked over which was convenient.

This place is a hidden gem!! The closest Chinese food plus delicious food near for college students. I come here often with friends for dine in or also takeout. The staff is always friendly and helpful! They accept Apple Pay as well! It is a small space but that’s not really an issue for me.

The WORST Chinese “food” ever. These guys don’t know what Chinese food is or customer service. Extortionate prices and the food doesn’t even come with the appropriate sides like rice with entrees-that’s another $4. We weren’t told of this and got takeout and only discovered when we got back to our place. The quality of the chicken is horrid-I couldn’t even eat it as it was full of chewy cartilage-gross! When I phoned and brought this to his attention he said he had nothing to do with it and didn’t care at all. Spend your money elsewhere in Calistoga.

Great food! The sesame beef was amazing! Highly recommended if in the area.

I truly enjoy this family owned and operated restaurant. There food is great and they will accommodate your preferences as long as you ask with no hassle. Highly recommend it to everyone visiting Calistoga.BTW their orange beef is to die for!
