With widow open wide windows, we enjoyed both the activity on the street, as well as the happy atmosphere within. It has a "local feel" and hospitable servers. The menu is leaning toward a pub type fare, however, the flavors and presentation were pleasing. We ordered an appetizer of Tater Pops, which were surprisingly great. All our choices were pleasing. The Dynasty was my pick, and I was pleased. It was fresh veggies, rice and chicken. Yum. My only comment is that it is noisy, so go prepared to have fun, maybe not intimate conversations.
I went for lunch with a few coworkers, and it was really fun. The servers were friendly and attentive and the food was good. I had the tuna tacos, which were a little small. I would have preferred three to two for a higher price.
We went to Paper St for my birthday dinner after following them on Instagram for a while and being intrigued. When we got there we were seated immediately, as even though it was Cinco de Mayo, it wasn't that busy. Actually, half of the place was empty. Anyways, we sat for 20 minutes before anyone came to say hi or bring water or take drink orders. Then one server came, took our order and disappeared. Another one came with the wrong drinks, then came back to take our food orders. The food came pretty quickly and was decent. Nothing spectacular, pretty average! We juggled the two servers for the remainder of our visit and eventually got out of there. The idea of the place, as well as the menu, have so much potential - I don't know if they just don't have enough servers, or enough good ones, or what, but it didn't live up to expectations. Also - if you're gluten free and want a burger, they do lettuce "buns" which is always incredibly disappointing. Just get some gf buns, people.
Went for a lunch with work and had a fish taco to start plus shared the nachotots and then had the Mexi-Corn Salad. I am stuffed. I usually can eat a salad and still be hungry because of lack of toppings but not here. I ate and ate and still couldn't finish my salad and I am beyond full. It was one of the best salads I have ever had in a restaurant. I got it without the pico but everything was spot on. Loved all the toppings, I had grilled chicken (instead of the rotisserie chicken) which came with lettuce, rice, avacodo, corn and tortilla chips. It was very good and I would totally recommend this salad.
This restaurant is really hip and modern, offering unique and trendy dishes like the Ramen Burger and Chicken and Waffle Cone.
