Bidrage med feedbackMy family ordered the $50 premium combo for 2 at a family function. It included an appetizer, salad, a variety of meats for grilling, and 2 desserts. The meal started with complimentary chicken soup to warm us up. The fried sweet potato balls were delicious and a hit with my daughters. I particularly enjoyed the fresh strawberry salad. We tried a variety of desserts, with most of the group opting for green tea ice cream, although I found the mochi and S's to be more interesting. There was also a mixed vegetable dish for grilling with zucchini, cucumber, and mushroom slices. The meat selection included boneless chicken, pork, short ribs, pork slices, and beef ribs. The two downsides were the lack of variety in dipping sauces which made all the grilled meat taste the same, and the portion sizes were not suitable for hearty eaters. Despite this, the service was excellent and accommodating to our large group of 20. For $25 per person, you get to try a variety of unique dishes. It would be great to have more dipping sauce options to enhance the flavors of the grilled meat.Overall, there was an abundance of food for the average person, but those with bigger appetites may find themselves wanting more.
This restaurant offers the best yakiniku barbecue experience we've ever had! We stumbled upon it while exploring Metrotown and we were thrilled with our discovery. We ordered the meat set, which included pork belly, pork cheek, kubota, veggies, and pig intestine. The meat was of top quality and well marinated, and the dipping sauces, both spicy and sweet BBQ style, were delicious. The deep roasted squids, fish cake, chicken karaage, spicy dried noodles, and kimchi hot pot were all exceptionally well cooked. Even my young daughter couldn't resist having multiple servings. To top it off, we enjoyed the refreshing muddy lemonade and the scrumptious sweet potato balls with condensed milk and peanut. The prices were very reasonable for the generous portions and high quality of food. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, taking the time to introduce the menu to us and other customers. Despite being a BBQ restaurant, the ventilation was great so we didn't leave smelling like smoke. We were so impressed that we ended up returning for a second visit during our stay in Vancouver. This restaurant is definitely worth a trip to Burnaby and is a must-try dining experience!
We have visited O Grill for dinner multiple times since it opened last year, and we have always enjoyed the food. It's a unique experience to grill your own dinner at your table. You can choose the dishes you want and cook them on the grill to your liking. The meal also includes chicken soup, and they offer a small dessert menu. Although the service can be slow due to understaffing, the manager is very friendly and attentive.
Good BBQ especially for 2Good selection of meats to cook and combo portion size and price was about perfect.
