Grand Dynasty Seafood Restaurant

When we were next to the delta, 3 of us decided to eat in the grand dynasty on recommended one of my Chinese customers who joined us for dinner. we had a very tasty meal of bbq half duck, steamed whole rock fish. in ingwer and green twill sauce, deep fried calamari, thin cut bark meat with baby choi, and fried rice with bark meat. I'm sorry I don't know the Chinese names for these dishes, as we leave my Chinese friend and customer order for us. everything came to the table piping hot and absolutely delcious. the fried rice had a bit of a smokey note on what was really nice. the service was very fast and the waiter was attentive without 'hovering', the only mistake I found was that they were from a few beer types that one of us tried to order. except this little one, the evening was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would return anytime.

Terrible service! the waiters ignored us all night without reason. we ordered the most expensive set dinner for 2, so we expected regular service, but not so. we had to drag a waiter down to fill our teekanne and then get a take-out box. the waiter brought our dessert without deleting the table. we ate our dessert, surrounded by dirty dresses. we paid on the switch because no one came to give us our bill. that was so. the abalone should have been boiled a past. not recommended!

Great place for dimmy and Chinese food. very recommended and the personal is also beautiful. tons variety.

I came up with my family a few days ago because of dimming because we were in burnaby and decided to visit this restaurant. there is a small free go next to it or meter parking along dominion. we came to the midday and we became. sat immediately; they had some empty tables on Thursday afternoon, despite the fact that they were not busy, we had several flags on our server, we believe we don't care. we ordered the typical hau gow, siu mai, but there was not much taste and the black chew tasted chew, we ordered another dumped, but there was hardly filling just the thick skin. the bark balls came with spinach, but it was hard and blanching. I would not recommend this place!

We had a 12 table dinner at this restaurant so quite a large party. The restaurant said they would open the door at 4pm so we could come setup but when we arrived the manager didn’t organize any staff to help. As a service based...industry they have zero concept of service. The carpet area outside the kitchen was flooded. They told us corkage was $10 but tried to charge us $30 after for liquor which was never mention beforehand when we told them what alcohols we were going to bring (even though we specifically told them what spirits we were bringing). When we argued about the bill they said they will fix the bill but in actuality they added the surcharge onto the cost of the table. Then we told them the cost of the table was incorrect and don’t treat your customers like idiots they changed it back. Such scam artists with horrible service. Food wasn’t particularly good either to make things worse. To try to milk a few hundred extra dollars for corkage after an 8000 bill was just straight up bad business. To summarize, I wouldn’t ever go back to this restaurant, and I’m shocked they’re still in business.
