Bidrage med feedbackYummy food! Awesome staff! The chef is an artist and is so thoughtful as he prepares the food. Will definitely come back to try more things on the menu : I had the Ahi Tuna Sashimi bun with Truffle fries for lunch and it hit the spot. Only regret was not ordering the milk tea.
Amazing!I was expecting steam buns... But it was so much better! I had the Hawaiian sandwich which has a deep fried dough bun but with the toppings like chicken, pineapple and sauces it was so refreshing! It's hard to compare it to anything else because it's unique. The fries are crispy and nicely truffle. The popcorn chicken...well it's like karaage but bite size so what's not to love?I definitely recommend trying Bunnies and will absolutely be going back. ?
Just a heads up that theur menu changed a few weeks ago. So the baos look like their gone but they still do have sandwiches. What we ended up getting was the popcorn chicken, calamari, and truffle fries.Everything was solid. The calamari was suprisingly the best thing out of the three although I wouldn't make a special trip for them.It looks like their sandwiches and ramen are popular so I'll give that a shot next time.
There is Taiwanese food and then there is Taiwanese fusion food. Bunnys fall into the latter category and wow, did they hit the mark. They use high quality and fresh ingredients. The noodle seems to be hand-made. The truffle fries are just out of this world. I could just eat like 3-4 orders of the fries except it would be really bad for my health. Some of the fruits (e.g. dragon fruit) for smoothies are imported from Taiwan. Again, they don't skim on these high quality ingredients. The chef/owner is also quite innovative in creating the dishes. Great presentation and great fusion. They are located in this weird and isolated location after the River District and kinda in the industrial area along Marine drive. Hope the location doesn't impact their business. This won't prevent me from visiting again as they create new menu items.
I am glad I gave this place a try! I ordered the tuna sashimi and holy cow buns (I thought it'd be similar to the Vietnamese banh mi) and a milk tea. After I drove back to open the box I was surprised to see the bun being a deep fried donut texture, the food looked good but IT TASTED AWESOME! WOW! I really can't compare this to anything because in plain it's a crunchy donut sandwich? ? 10/10 on flavor, crunchiness and textures. And the milk tea was really tasty!
