Bidrage med feedbackMy partner and I just finished our meal and we are feeling very satisfied. We were too hungry to cook at home, so we decided to drive to Paramount to check out their menu. We opted to try the moutabbale dip, as our 18-month-old enjoyed it when we tried a sample. We savored it in the car while waiting for our falafel and huh with rice. Surprisingly, our order was ready in just ten minutes and they even brought it out to our car! Usually, we love to cook at home and often feel like we could make dishes taste better after eating out, but not tonight. The falafel was so good that it didn't even need any sauce, and paired perfectly with the side salad. I'm curious to know how they marinated the huh so that it remained tender even after reheating. Overall, everything was delicious and we definitely plan on coming back for more.
Paramount has consistently impressed us with its fantastic food concepts, quality, and creativity. It has been one of my favorite places to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine since 2009. The Niagara location, which we last visited in 2016, left much to be desired. However, the best location by far is the Mississauga location near Dixie, which I believe is the original and the first. Unfortunately, our recent experience at the Burlington location was a disappointment. We ordered knafeh for dessert and were offered two varieties - Lebanese and Nabulsieh. Both were underwhelming. The Nabulsieh knafeh was particularly disappointing, with a dry and thin pastry, cheese that did not resemble Nabulsi cheese, and an unpleasant chemical taste. I believe Paramount is capable of better, and I urge them to return to the drawing board and innovate.
Tried Paramount Fine Food for the first time. Definitely will be the last. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was filled with pickles more than chicken. It made it so salty I had to throw it out! So much for lunch today?
It was our 1st time at this location the corner of Dundas Street West and Appleby Line. We arrived early to ensure a seat. No problems finding a table for 'four '. The service was attentive, efficient, friendly and our hostess was 'so ' accommodating. Her...attention to our eating pleasure, allowed us to be instantly taken in by her and the owner 's enthusiasm. The owner and hostess 's husband visited our table twice to ensure our eating experience was pleasant and the food tasty. We were more than pleased with our tasty food choices. The 'puffy ' pita bread with the very tasty and decadent hummus spread was outstanding. The falafel appetizers were amazing. We were not rushed with our family lunch. The food was hot, tasty and appetizing, to the point we have left-overs for tonight or tomorrow 's dinner at home. The cost was more than reasonable and suited our 'retiree ' budget well. We were touched that the owner sent over complementary 'sweets ' to accompany our Arabic coffee. Wow, what an amazing pairing of 'sweets ' and 'Arabic black coffee '. What a lovely lunch experience shared. We will return with other family and friends, in January after the holiday rush.
Food is great. Fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection! Always good service on delivery and food is packaged well.
