Cattleguard Steakhouse Saloon - Buffalo

Everything was so good! They were so busy, but our server (Shay) did a fabulous job! The bread and the scones were a great start. Then they'll take you a REAL salad, not the Eisburg fair! I chose the 12oz Sirloin with a sweet potato and it could not have been better! My son got Mahi Mahi and loved it! My wife and daughter ordered the chicken and said it was great! Thank you for a great experience in Buffalo!

Strong cream in the cheese and broccoli soup. Taste pretty good. Steak and baking potatoes are GREAT. The atmosphere is really good. A really good restaurant. I'm impressed by Buffalo, Wyoming.

We were in town for the night and decided to stop here for dinner. We ordered the 16oz Ribeye and the grilled Mahi Mahi. Before our dinner came, they bring a basket of bread to the table. There were scones (biscuite like bread that was a little sweet) and sesame bread, which also had a sweet glaze. This was freshly baked bread and it was especially excellent with butter. It was a delicious start of our meals. Steak was ideally spiced, a perfect medium rare and very delicate? Mahi, Mahi was perfectly cooked and had a delicious herbal butter. Salad and soup were also great and come with a duck. I just have two complaints that my baked potato wasn't hot. It wasn't hot enough to melt butter, it could have been cooked longer and my diet Pepsi was flat. Great dinner anyway, thank you.

My server was very sweet and good. The food wasn't so great. My pork was very tasty, had to go back to the kitchen to be cooked the rest of the way. Then the manager? I put it on my table to argue that she had eaten it as Steamed Veggie site knew. Prices waaaaay too high for canned food. The homemade carrot cake was very good, and the pig when cooked was excellent.

Good food. Like a lot of places in this town they are perpetually understaffed and mobbed daily by tourists. Make a reservation if you?re on a tight schedule or a good size party. Or just chill out. Had a steak salad which was excellent. Place is a good option to splurge on a nice steak. Friendly staff. Good beer on tap.
