Pepe's - Brownsville

My family and I came to Brownsville to the beach. We stumbled over this place in a mood. So delicious! Customer service is great! Usually never packed, but the quality of food is really good. I have the Fajitas and love them! Chips and salsa are on their way! The waiters are super sweet! You will enjoy this place.

The buffet had plenty of different choices, except the chicken mole that I was craving. Had to order it separately off the menu, very good. The salsa was delicious. The flour tortillas were very good. Live Mello music in the background where you can still have a pleasant conversation without yelling at each other. A bit pricey though, but, well worth it.

Great atmosphere service! Live music during our visit. The place is very clean; the staff was quick to clean used dishes. Good variety of foods that changed during the visit. Keep going. Buffet is served on your request, although it can be slow when the restaurant is full. à la carte meals are available. The staff will be happy to ask inquiries quickly. Desserts are limited, but quite delicious. The rice pudding is excellent! Prices are reasonable, $10 buffet per person plus drinks. Come back.

This place was so great! 5/5. We got here at 2:50 p.m and were immediately seated. We placed our order and ordered drinks within five minutes from being seated. The waiter brought our drinks within two minutes. I ordered the burritos filled with carne guisada and my partner ordered enchiladas. The food came out less than 10 minutes later and it looked delicious and it tasted like it too! Super flavorful! We ate our meal paid and departed by 3:20 so it was a super smooth dining! Definitely recommend!
