Bidrage med feedbackI came here with a group of friend and I had the duck main which was fantastic! Will definitely return again!
Delightful setting under the canopy of trees and the stars, happy friendly efficient service... we really wanted to write something a little more positive about the food. But no, the two pizzas we ordered were less than ordinary. The prawns on the gamberi were tasteless, very little chilli but lots of rocket, the prawns were much like overseas frozen prawns. The capricciosa had thin slices of processed packaged ham few mushrooms and tinned artichoke. For the price and the cafes reputation we expected far better than what we got.
Heard good things about Cafe D'Amore, thought we should try it for ourselves. Followed Google Maps to get there with ease. Glad we booked a table, because it was a full house. The girls who were serving did an excellent job considering they were short staffed. Drinks came out quickly and there was only a short wait for the sensational food. My wife had the fettuccini cabonara and I had the fettuccini gamberi. Her meal was delicious and so was mine. I had a generous amount of banana prawns in mine and they were sensational. Only down side is we had no room to fit in some churros. We will return again. The photos don't do the meals justice.
Another fabulous night of dining out in Broome. Seems everywhere you go, be it lunch or dinner, every joint is pumping!! This quaint little Italian restaurant boasts professional service - especially from the very cute waitress with the bob haircut, who took great care of us, so much so that we were more than happy to reward her with a tip. Furthermore, they have a reasonably priced menu, with plenty of tempting offers, and their wood fired pizza oven finishes off their perfect pizza dough. After being greeted with complimentary French bread, with a balsamic glaze and olive oil dip, Mrs Kiwichef and I shared a Funghi Pizza, and a Spaghetti Marinara. Both were cooked to perfection, although I felt that there could have been a little more seafood in the marinara. The flavours were authentic and very tasty. Having scoped out their dessert menu ahead of time, thanks to Zomato, we planned on saving room for a dessert, and ended up having two, as the special of the night, Warm Date and Pecan Pudding, Toffee Sauce and Ice Cream just sounded too good to pass up - and it was divine!! The Honeycomb Pot is a deliciously rich, yet light, dark chocolate mousse, topped with chunks of Crunchie bar or Violet Crumble - what a stunner! Definitely go there!
Good quality italian food. Very tasty pizzas and pasta. Signage on the street could be a bit better. Difficult to find in the dark.
