Bidrage med feedbackThis place is amazing! Everything is vegan but you don't even know it! I am not vegan but I love this place more than other Mexican places I've been in New York. Its amazing food and drinks and desserts ND service. The bar is awesome the atmosphere ingeneral. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
As a vegan it always fascinates me when various cuisines take on the challenges to give tasters the authentic culinary experience of their cuisines and ensure it?s all vegan friendly. To enjoy a Mexican burrito or a fish taco and not taste likeits vegan, you know you achieved high standard status. My family has basically tried everything on the menu? from theirstarters; Beet empanadas, jackfruit tamales made in banana leafs, guacamole and red chips, chorizo burrito, Buffalo polloburrito? then we added Chayote ?fish? tacos and Carnitas tacos which was made from a delicious blueberry taco shell. For desertwe had to have the churros which lasted 3 seconds before my kids devoured them and a coco leche pie. We also took the Mexicanwedding cookies to taste which melted in your mouth good. If you?re vegan and want an authentic Mexican experience, from theirbeautifully decorated indoor seating to their 5 plus star dishes you look no further but Ja Ja Ja in Williamsburg.
I would choose this place over most, if not ALL of the other vegan options every single time within walking distance. The fish tacos are #1 and you could skip the cauliflower ones if you're struggling to choose. I've had them all. The best advice I can give to folks doing take out is that they really should try to eat the food within the hour that it's cooked. I have tried to save some of my tacos leftover from lunch at work a few times and just have them for dinner, but it's just not the same. So yeah, just make sure you eat it all immediately which isn't hard to do because it's sincerely so delicious. I love their LES location for dining in a bit more!
Plant-based restaurants. Fun to try even though we ordered too much for 2 people. I didn 't even realize it was a plant-based restaurant until I saw that the Wi-Fi was called 'Jaja Plantas '. As we saw 'chicken ' and 'chorizo ' on the menu. I will say we were fooled until we tried the fish, which I 'm not entirely sure what the plant-based alternative was but was interesting. The nachos and gorditas were good (I recommend). My watermelon mocktail was delicious Beautiful restaurant interior
4.5, rounding to 5. Honestly, this is probably the best vegan place I've had. And I love meat. The portions are super large. I got the chicken burrito, which if you didn't tell me was vegan I would have believed it. The Tacos Tazon bowl is also massive, you won't leave hungry for sure.I really like the dim lighting inside there are some hip hanging lights and light wood all around the restaurant. My only qualm is that the music is REALLY loud (but could be good for a night out, lots of Bad Bunny).
