Grimaldi's Pizzeria - Brookfield

Ice cold air constantly pouring down ensured my first slice out of the wood fired oven was cooled off. The remaining slices were as though from a refrigerator.The bartender is as rude as he could be.Pic shows the view of the only viewable tv, obscured by wires, electronics, and an oversized dusty rack holding bottles of alcohol.Back to the pizza, fist slice was good, but remaining slices had to be cut using the cheapest silverware that could be found in any prison.

One star. My experience at Grimaldi Restaurant in Brookfield was incredibly disappointing. As a vegetarian, I was shocked to discover chicken on what was supposed to be a vegetarian pizza. When I brought this concern to the manager's attention, their dismissive response, citing it as cross-contamination, was unacceptable. It's one thing to accidentally mix ingredients, but it's another to disregard dietary preferences entirely. I expected better attention to detail and respect for dietary choices. If you're vegetarian or have specific dietary and allergy requirements, I strongly recommend avoiding this establishment.

Nice NY style pizza with a variety of flavors. I also like the wine bottle lights they have hanging for decoration :

Grimaldi 's has a cool fifties Rat Pack vibe, with vintage black and white photos on the walls and hanging wine bottle chandeliers. We ordered a Traditional Tomato Sauce Pizza with extra sauce, black and kalamata olives, fresh garlic, and jalapenos. Also, a White with Garlic Pizza with added artichoke hearts. Both were delicious: crispy crust and good amounts of toppings. To start, we had a Mediterranean salad which was well-dressed, with perfect proportions of lettuce to the good stuff. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, I highly recommend it, and look forward to returning. Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly

Had some pizza and some appetizers all tasted great. We had my young granddaughter, and they made extra effort to keep her occupied.
