Bistro le 633 - Bromont

Normally this is a 4 star restaurant but this time the food was a little off. Grant it with COVID it’s a bit crazy for everyone. Let’s get back to the food. My only issue was the salad. I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered in the...past. However, both my husband and myself were really disappointed with the salad. The dressing was simply “oil”. I had to wipe the oil from my mouth. No salt, no seasoning....just oil. The server should perhaps of told us when we ordered a salad as appetizer that the steak frites came with salad. Could have maybe suggested an alternative. So we ate of lot of oily salad. However, the steak frites made up for it. As usual, it was cooked to perfection. I find the portion perfect for the price you pay. Only the terrace was open and there was plenty of room for everyone to safe distance from each other. You could see it was hard on the servers as they had those plastic shields on their faces and they were uncomfortable in the heat. Sangria was nice, could have had some fruit in it but very very tasty. We were not asked whether we wanted dessert. Part of resto protocol. But we had plenty to eat. I had made a reservation so I was able to bypass the long line and go straight to my table. I will definitely return as the ambiance is always wonderful and the food great.

Food is overpriced, low quality ingredients wrapped in a pretty package. The wine was good. Unless they cut their priced in half or source better ingredients, find a better place to eat.
