Mo's Fish And Chips - BROMLEY

I went to this restaurant yesterday for skate and chips, my favorite dish. The fish took a long time to cook, and I think the new owner forgot it was in the fryer. The batter was brown and crumbled to dust when I tried to eat it with a fork. The chips were also brown and greasy. The restaurant has been under new ownership for a while now, but unfortunately, I won't be returning.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are the best I've ever had. They consistently provide a fantastic meal that is always cooked to perfection. The staff is very good as well.

Have been to this takeaway before but tonight the food was very disappointing, we ordered over the phone and told it would be 10 minutes, when we arrived 5 minutes later it was ready, once unwrapped on arrival home the batter was very soggy and the curry sauce was extremely watery, not good at all. Its a shame as this was once a great takeaway.

Everything cooked to order, so freshly made every time. There is a friendly staff member outside the shop, to take your order, and you only go in to pay and collect. I always collect so I know what I am getting and can get it home asap. Great selection of additional items, including veggie burgers so works for vegetarians too. We tried the squid, cod and chips. All were really delicious, so will be going back for more soon.

I placed an order through Uber Eats. The haddock was decent, but I was disappointed with the very small portion of large chips I received after paying £3.50. Another reviewer also mentioned the same issue. Spending £20 on 2 fish and 1 chips is too much for me, so I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame, as this restaurant used to be great.
