Bidrage med feedbackWe visited for Sunday lunch family of 3 adults 2 children (14 11) plus 3 dogs Had a lovely table inside plenary of room and very comfortable Good service prompt and charming 3 of us had roast dinners (2 roast beef 1 roast chicken) with the biggest Yorkshire puddings ever 1 had fish and chips then 1 children’s chicken strips with chips and beans changed to broccoli (unusual child) Portions are huge even defeated teenage boy with hollow legs! Even the children’s potion was huge. The roast beef was soooo tender and stuffing with the chicken was greatly enjoyed Food is fresh and hot and delicious! We normally love a pudding but felt too full this time. Good value for money 5 people would highly recommend.
Booked in for 3x night stay and a very enjoyable stay we had ,I thought generally they have a great team at the Bucks Arms , Breakfast service food was excellent the Bar staff always had a smile The food was consistently good matched by the service of the Restaurant. Our Room was spacious and cleaned daily could do with a little updating .The Manager/ass should be proud of it's team at this Establishment.
Went here today for late lunch. Sat in the gazebo, lovely except for a wasp who wanted to play. I had a bar meal, fish finger sandwich. You are never too old for a fish finger sarnie and thos was superb. Chilli beef, hallumi burger and child gougons and chunky chips saw all four of us beaten, not a case of quantity over quality though, BOTH quality and quantity were there with bells on.
A pleasant enough setting and a nice pub. Service was friendly and not too over-the-top. Food was good without being exceptional. Prices were a little excessive for the experience. There is plenty of car parking right outside and the establishment is very handy if you are visiting Blickling Hall. Overall, I would rate it as 7 out of 10, losing the three points on pricing issues.
We wanted a light pub lunch in the beer garden with our dog There was a good selection of ales The food was nice but felt quite pricey like we were paying school holiday prices
