I've been to a lot of pho restaurants in NYC and there are not many good and authentic places — either the quality is very poor, or it's too inauthentic and westernized, cooked by people who have no passion or deep familiarity with the cuisine. Nice location quiet service is good could be slightly cleaner particularly the windows. Bring an appetite for the massive pho beef bowl with several varieties to choose from. It is large enough to share it between two people. Really big and nice tasting. Did I mention the beef bowl is tremendous with a good flavor to match. Watch out for the rooster sauce this rooster has a fiery effect. Hot
While the food was decent the service was terrible. I found a hair in my food. I have dyed hair so it definitely was not mine… the waitresses tried to convince me the hair was from the meat and I ordered a beef pho. Briskets do not have hair and i was beyond disbelief that they would not agree to refund my food. They were extremely un-accommodating and were angry at ME after I pointed out the hair. Worst Pho The soup was not even hot and was very bland. The texture of the noodle is really bad as well. Worst Pho that I ever had.
This place no longer exists! I came all the way here only to find that it has been replaced by a bakery.
