Turned up 5minutes before...doors locked, no-one answered door bell. Another family turned up..they'd also booked. Very shabby treatment of customers. No text or email to say they wouldn't be open. Disgraceful!
Make sure you book it isn't a large place.Food is very goodService great, very friendly staffFirst time i had steak, very nice so went back for a trio of local fish.Pinot blush was good and a selection of local bottled beers. It's slightly more expensive than some of the other places in Brixham but it was worth it.
It's ok... They are trying to be a thing but they just don't capture what this thing is. The food is just average and is too expensive for what they are trying deliver. My partner's seafood dish was very salty and for £26 we both agreed it was worth around £14 at best. The table next to us both had steak and both said it was very chewy. I had their 3 fish dish which is the only savour of the meal as this was cooked well and very tasty. The final let down was the staff had no idea about what was fresh and what was not. They told me the prawns were fresh and caught off the coast of Brixham.
Lovely food and experience. Did not disappoint, wounderful seafood and steak. Customer front of service requires some improvement, more formality perhaps but appreciated the honesty of the staff.
Food was not that good. Mussels arrived with no sauce, had to send it back. When it was returned with the sauce the meal was cold. Steaks were not that good. Also found that the head waiter/manager was OTT...slightly overbearing.
