Bidrage med feedbackWe wanted to love it, but a few things interrupted the experience. positiw: eating was very nice (1 omnivore, 1 vegetarian). make sure they tell the cook of nutritional restrictions when booking because it is a set menu. it is a good value for £17.50 pp plus £3 cork fee. the spicy kimchi was a way out! constructiv: the book system left much to wish. we were issued an 18:30 seat opportunity, but the rest of the 15 diners were issued a 19:00 seat, and none of us were served until the last late arrived at 19:10. two persons who had a confirmed reservation were expelled by overbooking, with nothing other than an apology.
Beautiful food, we had starter and main that was on sharing plates, the food was so good, so tasty, Pickled sea veg, sticky rice and Sea bass when we went.. there was more than that but I couldn't name it all.. There is no menu choice as they serve what they have, they will ask about special dietary requirements when you book, so make sure you advise as this will decide on the menu for that evening I expect.. it's nice and small, bring your own bottle too. I can't wait to go again.
Very delicious food! I had an authentic feeling of being in a friend's home. And an amazing host, who is super kind and generous and manages it all on her own.
Absolutely amazing food, brilliant service and a fantastic atmosphere. If you like trying different things and want to relax and have all your taste buds catered for then this is for you!
It is a must visit when in Bristol. A very unique experience. One host and one chef making a beautiful atmosphere. It is like one big chef table the chef makes the food and the host brings it amd explains everything. Fresh and local ingredients. Homemade pickled vegetables and other beautiful food. It is a very special place which I will remember and recommend to everyone. It is cash only, and it is brign your own drink wich the host takes a little provision. We will definitely come back there again for new experience.
