Bidrage med feedbackI used to frequent LR Sushi on Felix Street for some time, but unfortunately, I got food poisoning from their sushi rolls on Monday. There is no phone number available to inform them about this issue, so I took to the internet to share my experience. This is the first time I have been sick in years and as a result, I will not be returning to LR Sushi.
I recently reviewed lr sushi in november and mentioned that I have always ordered the aal and softshell basket. that has not changed. this time I ordered the chicken caraage. wow! it was just great and cheap
This sushi outlet is a hole in the wall along the adelaide street behind the queens plaza that has become a local institution. the hand rolls are thick tasty and cheap. I always command the aal and the softshell basket. now (until a few years...ago) but still excellent.
The large hand rolls at R Sushi are a must-try. The rice has the perfect texture and the ingredients are always fresh and not at all fatty. It's no surprise that there is always a line out the door at lunchtime. The servers are friendly yet efficient, making sure you get your order promptly. Be sure to try the fresh tuna hand roll - it's a standout dish.
Located on Adelaide St side of Queen's Plaza, LR Sushi is a conveniently located spot to satisfy your sushi cravings. Despite not being a sushi enthusiast, I decided to give it a try after hearing rave reviews. The lunchtime rush didn't affect me as I visited for morning tea and was promptly served by the attentive staff. Opting for the cream cheese and salmon sushi from the limited options available, I am intrigued to return and explore the full range of offerings. Surprisingly, my sushi was reasonably priced compared to other smaller establishments I have visited in the past. While the generous fillings in the sushi were appreciated, the excessive amount of rice slightly overshadowed the flavors. LR Sushi stood out for me in terms of value for money during this visit.
