The Overlook Restaurant at Connestee Falls

The deck had been removed from the entrance and there was no one in the manager's office or the neighboring grill, both of which appeared closed. We were left without dinner at 8 o'clock. Disappointed, we left and found another restaurant in the city where we received excellent food and service. We are disappointed with both Open Table and Overlook Restaurant. Our previous positive review seemed to have been overlooked as we did not receive any communication regarding the closure of the restaurant. Moving forward, we will be wary of making reservations at Overlook and will confirm directly with the restaurant to avoid a similar situation. It was also noted that during our last visit, an item we had planned to order from the menu was no longer available, despite it still being displayed on the website. This reflects poorly on the management and their online presence. It is important for the website to display accurate information, especially regarding closures. This experience with Overlook Restaurant should not be taken lightly as it caused inconvenience to a group of twelve people and put a significant birthday celebration at risk.

Really a nice experience. after the reading, in which others explained that the improvement had taken place in the last six months, we decided to try the overlook for a jubilee dinner. we were not disappointed and are happy to find an upscale restaurant that is within few miles of home. the food was imaginative and excellently prepared. the chef has several interesting sounding features on the daily menu. ignore the menu on their website as it no longer reflects the current offers. open table confirmed reservation, then a statement of cancellation that the restaurant had canceled our reservation. a call to the restaurant was required to solve the problem. phone number on the website and open table is displayed wrong. service was great, our server had only our table and two others in the night when we were there. we recommend overlooking anyone who is looking for great food and service in a quiet picturesque atmosphere. at the place that is in a golf course clubhouse, requires the input by a personal safety gate and drive about a half mile. it is worth the effort and will be found to be another hidden gem!

Another great meal in the overlooking! great dessert, appetizer and dessert was an amazing carrot cake. great service and a menu that is not disappointed.

This is located at a private golf course so a reservation should note that they will not let you in at more then 15 minutes before the reservation. Also on Sunday they only serve between 10 am and 1 pm

We had a leisurely 3 hour dinner with friends. The food was great and the conversation flowed with ease.
