Trattoria Di Don Camillo E Peppone

We visited this place on a busy Saturday night. Place was pleasantly crowded. Not recommended if you look for a romantic dinner let's say. Atmosphere is great with walls flooded with pics from the world famous Don Camillo e Peppone movies. Staff extremely kind, polite and helpful. There is really some experience here, much appreciated. Food simply delicious.. we were looking for a local menu and we were extremely satisfied. We started with gnocco grotto plus affettati misti (very good and polenta fritta (absolutely a must try in my opinion.. really a great choice . Main course we shared a plate of tortelli am cinghiale(boar with fonduta di parmigiano (melted parmesan cream if so I can say.. delicious! Then we shared again second course a fillet dipped in truffle sauce.. what to say.. words cannot describe.. tender meat with a delicious sauce.. Half lt of red sparkling wine and a bottle of water. Dessert: one millefoglie plus one ice cream Coffee and limoncino on the house: much appreciated : All for 70 euros. Not cheap but definitely worth every euro in my opinion Recommended!!!!

We came to Brescello to visit the don Camilo museum. As it wasn't open yet (lunchtime) we decided to find somewhere to eat lunch. We ended up in this place. We shared an antipasto platter and had the green tortellini and the tagliatelle with ragù. All very delicious. Service was swift and very friendly.

I and my wife had a very nice dinner with parma ham and cheese as starters, risotto as first dish, and a tagliatta as second dish. All dishes were very good and tasty. Services was very good. It was also a good occasion to try the Lambrusco sparkling wine.

Questo ristorante che si trova in una brezza lungo la riva del fiume porta il nome da uno dei due personaggi famosi creati da guareschi, don camillo e peppone, interpretato nei famosi film rispettivamente da fernandel e da gino cervi il locale ha uno stile rustico, con facciata in mattoni con numerose foto che immortalano scene tratte dai film impostati solo per brescello qui si possono gustare i piatti della cucina tradizionale verde reggiana E' davvero buono! il ristorante è chiuso il lunedì.

Circa dal centro della brezza con un ampio parcheggio abbiamo pranzato. acqua, porzione di gnocco fritto con salame misto, zucca e tortelli di pomodoro, tortelli di cinghiale e fonduta di parmigiano, caffè. tot euro. tutto il buon servizio incluso.
