The location is not so far from our hotel. This was the first chinese restaurant we found it in Bremen. We had two vegetarian menus. The portion was more than enough. They were not bad at all but what a pity!, they tasted exact the same. Good service, though.
The food was good then and good now. Still have the napkin I used in 1988. Chop suey and cashew nuts is great. It use to be run by mom and pop now the younger family, but was passed down well.
On a recent trip to Bremen, I was eager to explore the local cuisine. However, being a vegetarian, and not speaking the language, I was limited. We stumbled upon a few Chinese restaurants near our hotel, all with similar menus. With no German speaking skills, I walked in and used my basic Mandarin to find the veggie options. As the waiter was so helpful, we decided to eat here. The food was delicious! Seriously, delicious. Having lived in China, I know the difference between a greasy take out and home cooking. This was the latter. I had an amazing veggie noodle soup, which reminded me on the night time street markets in China. Definitely not what I expected from a trip to a small German city. Although the local food I did try was delicious, it was nice to have a familiar comforting meal as a treat. Service was excellent and for the price we paid about £15 all together) the dinner was one of the best I have ever had. Worth a visit for an unusual and satisfying experience.
Delicious food and very nice staff, even if it's out of the house. Support for your location
