The Fainting Go - Breese

Moved to Carlyle in July. Have gone to the Fainting Goat 3 times now and each have provided excellent meals! Food quality is amazing, staff is helpful and friendly, the establishment is spotless. For all you reviewers posting nasty comments because of ownership 's political affiliation, grow up already. Confederate flags? White nationalist racists? Well with smart phone technology where are the photos? Another post "While I have not eaten there ' Really? That means you are NOT qualified to post anything other than your talking point gibberish. Again grow up people. Small businesses have been devastated by the COVID19 lockdowns and rather than support many feel compelled to put their personal agenda first. Fainting Goat deserves local support, and we will not only patronize weekly now, but spread the word and further increase their revenue.

Intentionally violates CDC guidelines. On two separate occasions have ignored all health standards. Most recently held a Trump Rally complete with confederate flags. More than 150 people when isn't supposed to be more than 50 people or 25 percent capacity. All with no masks and distancing. Danger to public health and supporter of a racist and homophobic candidate. Boycott

Food was very good, as were the drinks. Very disappointed to see that they are hosting a white nationalist rally, can't imagine what the owners are thinking. Won't be getting any more of my business now.

The music on the patio was amazing. Unfortunately the service was awful. Saw at least 3 tables leave. Heard amazing things about this place, but probably won't be back.

While I haven 't eaten here I did read an article about the initial closure for Covid the owner is complaining about having to 'throw away ' $3500 worth of food why on earth didn 't she donate the food to a local pantry or local families in need? Speaks volumes.
