Motel - Restaurant Timisul de Jos

There's a big building having the sign of "Motel/Restaurant Timisul de Jos" on it, near the Petrom gas station. It doesn't look like much and the word "motel" does not encourage one to stop. But locals already know this place as a fair pit stop on the road. Not only can you eat a good meal here, but if the night falls and you need to sleep, they also offer accommodation. The prices range from RON 130 per night to RON 200 for a room (at the reception). The food is traditional Romanian and I honestly don't remember anything bad about it, each time I went. The lady who served us "ciorba de burta" was really nice and attentive to all our needs. The restaurant is very clean and quiet, as you can admire the view behind the building with a small pond and the green forest around it. There are plenty of parking spots to leave your car in a safe place while you enjoy your stay here. The prices are definitely ok. A lunch for 2 people does not exceed RON 50, drinks included. It should be given more than one chance for the road!
