I'm sorry to inform you all that Demetrios has closed down. The restaurant is now called Godson's and they have introduced new recipes. Additionally, the famous dish that was guaranteed to cure anything is no longer available.

My visit to Longboat Key was made even more enjoyable thanks to the professional and pleasant service I received at this restaurant. I want to give a special shout out to the bartender, whose huge smile and wonderful spirit truly made my experience exceptional.

EXTERNAL TRADE AND PREPARATION! Very recommended! We ordered the food for the first time tonight from Demetrio’s! We are new in the area and are so excited that we have finally found an authentic pizza place! Absolutely delicious food! From pepper soup to cheese bread. Extremely good Italian Grinder sandwich and a delicious mini-Greek salad. We are so satisfied with our entire experience and we can not wait to try more food from this fine establishment. Thank you. I always had a great meal here and the staff is very friendly. These are two of the reasons why Demetrios has been and counts for 45 years and why they are chosen by Bradenton Herald readers as one of the best restaurants in the city year after year. The owners treat the staff well that it was rated as one of the best restaurants in the area.
