Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart

I am quite partial to these baked cheese tarts. Buttery crumbly shortcrust, tangy sweet cheese filling. Can be enjoyed warm or cold. People should try these at least once in their lives. Unless you have an allergy to the ingredients. In that case, your health comes first.

I was passing this Cheesecake shop in the Myer centre noticed they had a new tart available. Have tried the original salted custard one many times, just delicious, as was the new apple ones I purchased. Buttery very short, crumbling pastry with creamy runny custard apple slices on top. Only problem I have is they just melt in the mouth you want more!

I just ordered one original baked cheese tart. Now I regret the fact that I ordered only one. The tart was nice and crumbly. It felt fresh and not something that was refrigerated and moist. The cheese filling was oozy and had a tint of sweetness to it. It was very soft and melts in your mouth. I also ordered the coffee bun which was special this month. Not a great fan of it because I am not a coffee fan. The prices are also good. I will be back to try more flavours.

I like their Ice cream and cheese tarts so much! The cheese tarts fillings isn’t solid, so when we take for the first bite, the cheese actually melt in the mouth! It taste so good and is one of my favourite dessert and one of the snack that I must have everyday I work!

Not a big fan of cheese but tried the Original Cheese Tart. Soooo good and light and comforting! Also had the Coffee Bun, which is their version of the bun that I usually get at Pappa Roti, equally good and a great companion with Coffee. Will be back for more for sure!
