Nicks - Bracebridge

Down to earth breakfast place. The eggs and toast were first rate. The peameal bacon was outstanding. It obviously came from a local butcher. It's nearly impossible to find these days. If you're in Bracebridge, you have to have this Peameal.

The food was excellent, and the staff took 15 mins to take orders and served me much after others who came after me, I felt like I was ignored ?

My family was looking online for a family restaurant to have dinner Sept 16, 2023. We found Nick’s family restaurant.We were not disappointed. The waiter and waitresses where very friendly and welcoming. We ordered our food and it was served in 15 mins. It arrived piping hot, fresh and tasty with good portion size for the price. We ordered a variety of chicken dishes, the chicken was a real chicken breast not chicken patties.The highest dish we ordered was $16.95.I will definitely recommend Nick’s family restaurant to my family and friends. One funny side note that would be memorable for our family, was the fact that I managed to lock myself in the bathroom. This was certainly not the restaurants fault or anyone working there.Wheelchair accessibility: My wife walks with a cane and found it difficult to navigate the stairs especially the first step. In front of the steps there are irregular stones that can be a tripping hazard.

Disappointed. Food was low grade and the atmosphere not the most inviting. Prices IMO too high. Not a place for me.

Pancakes were burned and the ones that weren't were super dry and no amount of maple syrup made them edible ..the Greek omelette was dry and didn't taste fresh..coffee was ok but they served them in small cups only. we didn't complain and they didn't even ask why we left all 5 serving of our pancakes ..French toast was ok and the hungry man breakfast was ok too... you get what you pay for I wouldn't recommend this place.
