Pollo Campero - Boynton Beach

Delicious fried chicken and great sides. I really like this place. Everything tasty and good value for the money. It gets super busy during lunch and dinner times especially on the weekends but worth the wait!

I always drive by this place on my way home at night. I decided to stop based on the reviews here on Yelp. I ordered the two piece chicken drum and thigh with yuca fries and a chicken empanada. The chicken empanadas was good and flavorful and the chicken itself was also very flavorful. The euchar fries we're good but in my opinion not as good as Pollo tropical. The meal cost 13 which in today's economy is a bargain. The staff was very friendly and when I told them it was my first time in they came by my table a couple of times to see if I was enjoying my meal. I would definitely come back here for a quick bite to eat. I do foresee more Pollo Campero popping up in Palm Beach.

Stop eating at that OTHER chicken place and start going here. You can get a meal for under 7. Friendly staff, fast, efficient, and oh yeah epically tasty. I am going through the drive thru as I write this review! If you want that delicious fried chicken sandwich, you know the one. Get it from here instead!

First and Last Time. Horrible, People jump in line in front of you, and the cashiers don't do anything. At 2:45pm on a Saturday and there is no grilled chicken at a Chicken Restaurant. Bad attitude at the register. I will continue going to Pollo Tropical, they have better service and better prices.

After seeing photos of their fried chicken online, I just had to come here to try it for myself. Our lunch didn't disappoint. In fact, it was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. And if you compare it to other fast food places, it's head and shoulders above them. If the setting was more formal, you'd be calling it a gourmet version. This restaurant chain was started in Guatemala. There are a couple locations in Dade, I think. But this is the only one, so far, in Palm Beach County. The place was packed when we stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There was a line at the counter to order and it stayed busy. You order and are given a number. Your food is delivered to your table. There were lots of large families here. They were ordering huge platters and sharing. I now know why. We got their four piece fried chicken dinner that came with two sides. We requested all white meat and paid a bit extra. We got two wings and two breasts. For our sides, we chose plantains, and black beans and white rice. They have a number of other sides including mashed potatoes and gravy which I would get next time. We also got a dinner roll with our meal or you can have tortillas . The chicken was lightly seasoned and lightly battered and crispy. The white meat was cooked all the way through inside, yet was still moist. It was delicious. The plantains were very good sweet and caramelized. The rice and black beans were decent, but not anything special. Note: most folks were ordering their red beans . So glad we came here. We've found our new fast food fried chicken place.
