Great Wok - Bowmanville

Good food and serving was decent and good value for money. The only downside was having no garbage bin in the dining area and was a bit dirty as some dead leaves were scattered inside and floor was dusty. It feels like nobody sweeps.

I have been coming to this family restaurant for years. They offer the best American style takeout Chinese. I personally come for a pick 2 double chicken ball (D3). I choose them over the Mandarin any day.So I would also recommend on customer service. The owner is awesome, willing to fix problems quickly, English can be a communication barrier, but overall, I highly recommend this family business.

We just placed our order and I have to say, the food was cold and not good at all. The portions were smaller, even the sweet and sour sauce and egg rolls were smaller than expected.

I spent over $100 on food at this restaurant and it was a complete disappointment. This is definitely the worst meal I've had in Durham. I couldn't even finish any of the dishes because they all tasted like they were cooked with old oil. I ended up throwing the rest of the food in the garbage. What a waste! I should have read the reviews beforehand, but that's on me. The reviews were right - the food was terrible. Do not order from this place. There are much better options available.

My experience at this restaurant was not great. I would rate the food a 3.5 out of 10. They need to improve their pride and cleanliness in the kitchen. The egg rolls had large pinched ends sticking out of the wrapping. Good luck to Joe, but I will not be returning. No soup for you!
