Bidrage med feedbackDeathproof is the grungy punk-rock venue/coffee bar that the Boise area always needed. Whether you want to taste something different and interesting (plenty of unique drinks on the menu), or hear something different and interesting (local talent in an intimate setting), this place is worth checking out. While it may not seem to be in the best location, the strip mall aesthetic really adds to its charm. Deathproof Coffee is an original venue worth exploring.
I love this place! I come every time I am in Boise. The folks are nice and the vibe is chill. It is located in the middle of a strip mall loaded with thrift stores so it is a good place to fuel up for bargain hunting.
Love this place! The staff are fun, they're knowledgeable and they know how to pull a great shot of espresso. The classic monster movie themed drinks are my favorite but that's certainly only the tip of their selections.
This venue is a great space. Has a very industrial feel with cement floors, white walls adorned by concert photos, black furniture, along with high counter with plugs so you can work from it. The space hosts a lovely piano for anyone to play and is very ADA accessible for wheelchairs. I tried their Ethiopia drip coffee which was smooth and mild with hints of berry. I also had an almond mylk latte which was creamy and rich. Thank goodness the barista actually aerated the mylk so that it wasn’t steaming loud! I can’t tell you how many shops I’ve been to where the baristas don’t actually know how to steam milk properly. They have Wi-Fi so if you need to work it’s a great space. The best part about the space is that they are super warm and welcoming and will provide you with any details about the coffee available at their fingertips. You can also rent out the space for work functions. They have a large separate space that which they host an array of music shows. It includes a stage, chairs and video screen. Clean restrooms!! I highly recommend this shop and will return on my next trip to Boise!
Thought this was a spacious cafe, had plenty of tables and seating area. Their menu is simple and had some pastries for sale. I purchased their maple pancake latte and thought it was yummy!
