Timberline Grill - Black Hawk

Had dinner reservations at 7:15. waited for an hour to eat ours and saw several tables that have been sitting after us their meal, pay and go. our waitress told us that because of a big table it slows down the kitchen. but when our food came out and the pommes and steak were cold. the chicken was excessively salty until it could not be eaten. the waitress took off one of the steaks and let the kitchen revive our fries. when they go to a more beautiful restaurant that is pricy, they expect that they eat hot and taste good. will not go back because it is a waste of time and money.

We arrived for our reservation time and sat immediately. our waiter came to the table to take our drink order quickly, but forget the rest of the night. our experience was terrible. we sat with empty cocktails and water for most of the time we were there. the only time that we have received refills is when we have made our waiters aware. I asked for more broth, never got it. we finally ordered dinner and my food came first. about 10 minutes later my brother arrived in fried food. we decided to eat until my sister and my husband got her to eat, but it never came. we could finally draw attention to our waiters and ask about the missing food. he went to the kitchen to check on our order and came back and informed us our missing food is not available and they need to choose something else from the menu. we ordered before an hour and were not told about it until we will ask about our food. my sister is vegetarian and ordered the only vegetarian menu option so she had no other choice to dinner. she had ordered a small beside salad for her dinner and left the restaurant still hungry. when we finally received the rest of the food, most of us were done to eat and to sit and watch the others eat. very disappointing experience, especially when the meal costs over $500. we do not recommend and we will never eat there again. there are other steak houses in blackhawk, we recommend to eat there instead. we celebrated our jubilees and that was a damper in the night.

Eating was amazing! but we caught serious attitude from the host when she sat us because outside reservation went from 9 people to 7 (friends had a medical emergency) which was strange that there would not have been a difference with the room given as they put the tables together. everything was expensive, what we knew, but when we went to pay, we still have some problems. there were 3 couples and a single person and so we wanted to pay (typical request.) the waiter spent 10 minutes to explain why he couldn't do it because she was just even and blah blah blah blah blah, just for him, how good I can share it as they want, I shouldn't. if I pay $100 per person, they'll split the **** I want them!

I had a reservation for 7:45 clock for a Bachelor party. we had planned our evening around this, and around 7:45 the young needed food. we only sat after 8:30 and then sat in a room without ambiente. the waiter was not ready or not in the position to share the bill and was quite open in the evening. my fish was cold, and another member of the party sent his steak back. No one was impressed by the food. I really wanted to have a stylish evening for my brother and have booked the ameristar for her call. I was very disappointed. the group had a good time, but it was a limonade from the lemon situation. I'm not back.

Service was great. Halibut had good flavor but the skin was a bit tough on the edges. I did like the mashed potatoes but I think the prices were a bit too high.
