Bisman Community Food - Bismarck

I love this place! I really feel like I belong to a community when I shop here. Everyone is friendly and polite, as opposed to many other grocery stores in town where even simple eye contact is avoided. (What's up with that, by the way? Good thing we have a local outlet for local people to work together to get local food and goods distributed locally. Did I mention it's locally owned by our very own community? I like that a lot.

This place is fantastic! Love all the fresh produce and delicious options for people with food allergies too. Highly recommended! Membership is very manageable, able to pay gradually and well worth it!

I have so many good things to say about the co op. The people are friendly, professional and helpful I always get a smiling face and usually end up laughing. The produce section is fun to look through can't wait to see more local producers. Love getting the local spinach, kale, and now lettuce. I buy the fruit that's on sale and it's always fresh. The ribeyes were second to none, and the house smoked skinless brats are tasty. Bought scallops to sear and they were great. Got a rotisserie chicken and couldn't believe how much meat there was on it, the flavoring was just right and the leftovers were good! Usually I can't stomach the leftovers from other store's chickens. The deli selections are always fresh and fun. End up buying the Terra Nomad baked goods a little too often. : Almost forgot to mention the soups in the salad bar tasty and hearty! All in all, I couldn't be happier to shop at MY co op.

The co op is fantastic for someone like me who eats gluten free and vegan the options are amazing! It's so rare around here to find something labeled vegan. I love it!

So many great things, I couldn't list them all. Our favorite natural dairy products. Perfect variety. Great skin products. Helpful staff. Amazing deli and menu. Friendliest atmosphere anywhere. Beautiful (and great smelling) store. Good job, you guys. The co-op is already a staple of Bisman life.
