Hungry Hobbit - Birmingham

Great place for lunch! i had a great tuna and sweetcorn sandwich here! and its fascinating to know it was just round the corner from where the hobbit was written!! staff was great, but i think the shop could do with some updating though!

I initially left a poor review when I was in a “lack of bacon sandwich depression” induced rage (it’s a serious condition) due to the card machine not working. In hindsight that was really harsh this cafe is great. It sounds like their broadband issues have been sorted, so they’ll accept cards again. I’ve recently found out that their food is available on at least one widely known takeaway app, which helps the situation too. Exactly what you’d expect simple, well cooked breakfast good for a reasonable price. Will be back as soon as possible, although hopefully not too often as they’d have to start rolling me in the door.

I ordered the Hungry Hobbit and felt completely stuffed by the end of the meal, but I didn't need to eat again until my next round of golf!

Great food, clean environment, and friendly staff. I have no complaints!
