I came here to eat some tapas of chorizo and longaniza de Graus (typical cured sausages in Aragon) and a local red wine (Viñas del Vero). It was very good and the price was really cheap. Also, from here you can see very good views of the surroundings.
Worst place I have EVER eaten in my life! First of all the cook/waiter was just so rude. My partner ordered a salad with no onions, tuna or ham (Being a vegetarian and it came with everything because the “cook” said it was pre-made. I ordered the lamb plate. Two pieces were over cooked and one was absolutely RAW! When I pointed this out, the cook squeezed it with his fingers and offered to put it back on the grilled (gross!!! I said I was fine and so he said well I will feed it to the cat. I am glad I paid $15 to feed the cat... AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.
The father and daughter that run the place are super nice people. The father was insistent on us ordering the 'typical tapas plate ' appetizers for 4 and the 'typical meats ' of Spain for two. I 'm so glad we did. It was incredible and gave us a chance to try some things we would not typically order. They have outdoor and indoor eating area and every table has a great view of the valley.
Found this small bar in Bielsa offering food continuously through day so we didnt have to follow Spanish tradition of waiting till after 2000!! Enjoyed a freshly prepared paella -excellent and a good bottle of local wine. Pleasant host -sadly only speaks Spanish. Local meat looks good so we look forward to returning.
Outstanding paella and sangria available 1200 to 2300 (rarity in Spain). One man show, no English but no communication problems. Best paella we've found in Spain, cooked upon order, filled with shrimp, mussels, two sausages, capers, pimento, other goodies. Full tapa and other local favorites, full bar with inside and outside tables. Not tourist or chi-chi, just authentic, very reasonable price, and liesurely pace. Started filling with locals as we two Americans finished at 8:15. Could not eat another Parador dinner and stumbled upon this wonderful experience.
