Tattenham Corner - Bhopal

One of the best restaurants in bhopal. I went to dinner on the 6th august during our stay in jahan numa palace. the food was excellent and unique in taste. it says that they follow the secret recipes of the royal kitchen since the age.

On a December evening, there is nothing better than enjoying a treat on the terrace of the Palace, under the mango tree. We indulged in dishes such as pankhi kebab, galouti kebab, and exquisite aperitifs. The main course and desserts were straight from the royal kitchen of the Nawab. It's a tradition for us to never miss this experience when we are in Bhopal.

This was my 3rd visit to the restaurant, but i must say the food quality is deteriorating day by day. We tried the fish with mustard, it was tasteless and other items ordered was also not upto the mark. Although the ambience is very good...but food needs a lot of improvement.

Ambience is beautiful. The terrace even more with the branches of the mango tree between the sky and you. hanging lanterns from these branches just add to the wow's moment in this place. The food on the other hand is average. Nothing to write about....the streets of bhopal have spectacular food. this place was a let down especially given that it's not reasonable on cost.

The restaurant, as its name suggests, is a beautiful setting under a mango tree! It is beautifully lit up at night and the food is fantastic. The Achari-Mutton-Kebab tikkas are the best we have ever had. The hospitality was excellent - Dol Bahadur, the manager, made us feel so welcome and accommodated our requests that we ended up dining here for two nights in a row. They even decorated the place beautifully for our celebration! Abhishek was also a great server. This place is a must-visit if you are in Bhopal!
