Bamboo - Bexley

Just called to place an order and was told they won’t delivery to us. Ask why and the lady said because we complain too much?!? The last order from Bamboo, they missed a whole dish which they said they would replace but never did. Absolutely poor attitude from a place where we have been ordering for years! Will NEVER order again. Rude management, please have more respect for your customer! Good Luck.

1st time, but not the last. Was told order would be an hour, but arrived within 40 mins, all meals and Starters arrived hot. My meal (king Prawn Pad Thai) and starter dim sum lovely, could not fault it. Will definitely use again.

I was very disappointed with the overcooked spring rolls, prawn toast, and ribs at this restaurant. I was recommended by a friend to try it out, but I wouldn't order from here again, especially based on the starters. I placed my order at 5:50pm, so there's no excuse for the poor quality, especially since it was early in the evening. I was hoping to find a new favorite Chinese restaurant, but unfortunately, this was not it.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and the food was terrible. It seemed like a lazy attempt to serve the expected dishes. The duck was not shredded properly, the noodles were like spaghetti, and the chicken chunks in the watery soup were tasteless. The mixed hors d'oeuvres had random bits of fried batter and a deep-fried mess that was supposed to be a pancake roll. There was no sauce, the ribs were dry, and it all cost just under £30. It was overpriced, the quality was poor, and the food was disgusting. I ended up throwing most of it away as it was inedible. Yuk!

Had a lovely meal on a Saturday evening. Got a table at relatively short notice. Mixed horderves for starters, everything was really nice, a minor issue was that the chicken satay was covered in peanut sauce which we didn’t know. Due to this I asked if we could have them plain, to which they obliged with no issues. We had prawn crackers on the side, however these weren’t included as complimentary which I found strange they charge £2.50 for a basket which I think is a bit cheeky. Duck was tasty, and then the mains were also very good, again only a little niggle but the crispy chilli beef didn’t have much sauce, but that’s just personal preference it didn’t effect how good the dish was. Overall had an excellent meal, would return.
