Bidrage med feedbackHoly cow! This place is great! Best BBQ I had in time! decided to try this place for a good old birthday dinner (bye all dietary destinations for the month. It is recently opened and going well to the lunches in Cicero is a rarity so away to Berwyn we go. You can smell that they're gone from a block! We were greeted by the manager when we came in. They gave us a quick process of order before they seem to disappear in a smoke cloud. Since this place is quite new, there was no line, so I went up and ordered "The Judge 's Sampler', which was drawn from half a chicken, pork, corn bread, half a plate ribs, and two sides for $30. With a drink it came to $34 (yes the place is expensive, but it is worth it. On average, all our plates were about $20 so ready to spend when you walk the door. Everything was the usual western type of theme, wooden floors, wood and walls, wood everything. There is a huge pig statue floating near the entrance that catches the eye of the people. To my pleasure there is a never-ending supply of about 12-16 different BBQ sauces of sweet acidic wine blends to your standard honey BBQ to ultra spicy mixtures. Our food came pretty fast, maybe waited 5 minutes before they're all ready. We sat on the tenderest, well cooked grill we had in a while. All inclusive of the moist, sweet corn bread broke us away. My only grip was that the Carolina-style ribs were not falling tenderly from the bone. All in all is my new lunch and catering spot. 5 of 5 stars

So excited to have City Barbecue in Berwyn! Not only this part of the city lacked a fantastic bbq facility, but as a person from the center Ohio originally I was always a fan. We cost pretty much everything to eat here. The Brisket is hands down the best thing on the menu. Turkey was shockingly good, better than the chicken and almost better than the pig. Regardless of this, everything is slowly smoked (Hickory) on site daily so it should always be fresh and tasty. The sauces are quite good overall, nothing comes pre-set FYI. For me, the Carolina style is where it is, but the Bourbon was also good. I would avoid the spicy ginger, however, seems better suited for egg rolls than bbq.
When I came here with my husband, we were immediately greeted by the nice friendly staff. Ingenious portions love that they sell the meat of the pound and also have sandwiches if you are not too hungry. The even heavy freshly made tea and lemonade is delicious I will be back this is a picture from that after math, was too hungry and food advised and looked delicious to the before.
We visited as a group of six on Nov 14, 2017 and ordered the Motherload. What you see in the photo is what was included for $59.99. The brisket was flavorful, the turkey was moist, the sides were awesome and the service at the table was great (asking if we needed anything, wanted plates cleared away, asking if we needed boxes or lids for things 'to go '. We ended up taking some home and will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
