King Buffet - Bend

King Buffet is my usual go-to for Chinese but this order will probably be the last. the orange chicken tasted so much like fish it was basically inedible. I threw 90% of it away (my roommate literally spit hers out). the beef lo mein is my typical order but unfortunately it made me sick, so most of that went to the trash as well. I ordered soup as well, but after the first 2 fails, my roommate and I didnt want to chance it and just threw that out. Im leaving 2 stars because king buffet is usually decent and the servings are large enough so serve as multiple meals. if its fresh its alright but be careful because when its bad its REALLY bad.

Seasoning in dumplings was both plain and too strong (way overpowered by ginger). Chicken in orange chicken dish was quite fatty and pretty flavorless. Fried rice just okay but dry.

Generous portions, packaged with care, accurate order, and the food was simply fantastic! The soup and rice were especially delicious!

Clean and delicious buffet. Restaurant big enough, but not huge as many offer buffet places. The staff was very friendly. Prices are cheap for what is also offered for dinner. A star lacks because they do not have sushi (only one type, no fish), have no crabs and they do not have beef, but so they keep the price affordable. Well placed near other restaurants and shops. I recommend and come back to the next visit Bend

Decent food and made to order. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Delivery was disappointing, but this falls on Uber Eats. The driver was confused and I had to put them in my right order.
