The Filling Station - Bellingham

Nice place to have a meal. My favorite was the mustang fries.

We were hungry after a hike at North Chuckanut Mountain trail, and this was the closest burger place as we were craving burgers. The place is at the cor er of the street, so the place is in an L shape. Once you go in, there are some tables to your right by some window and more tables to your left. The bar is in the inner part. We got the chuckwagon burger and the triumph chicken sandwich. The triumph is in the sandwich section of the menu, but it comes on a sesame bun. The chicken was crispy yet tender on the inside but the cole slaw kind of made the rest a little dry. There is bbq sauce but not enough. The chuckwagon was good too. At first, I thought it was small as the bun was small however there is a big beef patty. The outside of the bun was a little hard to chew. It comes with au jus to dip which helped a bit. The service was great and the prices are reasonable.

This is one of the best family-owned restaurants I have ever visited! I went with my brother during the holiday season for a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I ordered the Station Burger with a shake and fries. The burger may have been small (only a 1/6 lb patty), but it was bursting with flavor. The special station sauce was delicious, and the shake was thick and generously topped with whipped cream. The atmosphere had a 70's style truck stop feel with jazz music playing in the background. My experience was fantastic! I would highly recommend this place, and I give it a perfect 10/10 rating.

I initially came for a margarita, but ended up staying for the tea. I would rate the experience 9.15 out of 10.

Been to The Filling Station (both locations) many times, usually hungry after hiking. They never fail. Tasty burgers, the usual sides, although a fresh take on fries that I really like they seem like little scallop shaped fans of mashed? Awsomeness. Interesting veggie bowls, and any burger can be made into a salad like convertibowl. Excellent milkshakes. Fun atmosphere, Service is cheerful and on point. If you like burger joints, you 'll love this place.
