The Back Porch Restaurant

Our first time we eat in the restaurant, we have taken along in the past and were amazed how good it travels. Service was good considering that they were packed. Everything was delicious and cooked to order. Seasonal cocktails were a refreshing change.

The goat cheese fritters where amazing! 5/5 Lobster Bisque 4.5/5 very good. Could have used more lobsters. Artichoke crusted chicken 3.5/5. Chicken was a little gumy, but taste was good. Not very dry, but not exactly moist on the chicken. Very good environment and good food. Would definitely try again.

So good we went two nights in a row for dinner on our recent visit! Lamb chops, pork chops, filet, shrimp , chicken-all served hot and cooked to perfection. The greatest staff we have ever met (thanks Bailey and Cody All of this with a very cool historical vibe. If we had a private helicopter we would fly in every weekend from the Jersey shore : Thank you John and Deb

Great staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us despite not having reservation. Dinner quality/volume typical for upscale venue. Glad we chose this restaurant.

My family and I had dinner at The Back Porch to celebrate my wedding. We had an incredible time! The atmosphere is so romantic and sweet. If you?re into history or historical homes, this is the place for you! The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meals. We even got a small wedding cake from the restaurant?s bakery and everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed it! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Our waiter was great, so sweet. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening or special event. Thank you for making my wedding day even more special!
